I picked the Avs I'm not really cheering for the Stars but credit where credit is due. Missing their best dman and one of their best scorers they are up on a great team. And deserve it.

I'm cheering for the Avs, but if the stars win and did end up playing the northern alberta pigs at some point there is no question. Go stars- be as dirty as possible and dive all you want - you know leon and company will be doing the same.

As long as the stars keep playing like they are this series, with an edge, they can go a long way.

This series is going 7 though. Avs will come out hard at home.

Rantanen might be that guy to get Dallas further in the playoffs than usual. Plus imagine if/when they get Heiskanen and Robertson back. Stars are saying day to day for Robertson, seems like Heiskanen is still a bit away.

He’s been snakebite (4 points tonight) but he’s a really good player. I saw the Stars play the Kraken in Seattle last month and Rantanen stood out by far as the best player on the ice. He’s a beast.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a player like Makar. Just takes the puck away feels the pressure and just skates it away and his edges are unbelievable. What a gifted hockey player. Might be the greatest defenceman of all time.
