Nickleback have and always will be cheeseball goofs. ###### 'em.
Interesting that this was posted on the same day that Propagandhi cancel all their US tour dates. Basically a heavier, more talented band with integrity and social awareness that ####s on that garbage Alberta band from a great height. New album is released tomorrow and they have around a dozen dates booked in Europe and a few in Canada, no detailed info but it's likely their visas got denied due to their long history of activism and the polical content of their music.
Propagandhi cancelling is not surprising at all. Can't wait for the new album. For those who don't know, my avatar is the cover of my favourite Propagandhi album.
I do know that their visas weren't cancelled, but you aren't far off.

I'm unfamiliar with their work. How would you rate them compared to Hoobastank?

I can't believe there are so many propagandhi fans here.
total blast from the past, and I absolutely adored less talk more rock. Just put that album on, and will dig back in. Great stuff.

"A new iron curtain drawn across the 49th parallel," reads the top comment on the Instagram post announcing the cancellation, quoting a lyric from Propagandhi's 2005 song "A Speculative Fiction."
Not surprising since a lot of their music is very critical of the United States.
Edit, sorry I didn't see it mentioned earlier.

They change so much over the following few albums. I didn't like Potemkim City limits at first but it's now easily one of the my all time favourite albums.
I'll never pass up an opportunity to promote Propagandhi, especially when it involves bashing Trump at the same time. The new single "At Peace" has a depiction of Trump, Musk & Putin as part of a multiheaded, bulldozer monster. The sentiment of the song is almost them coming to terms with how ####ed up things are right now. Earlier in their career they were incredibly confrontational and very outspoken, at times to their detriment. Their 2nd album has the words "Animal Friendly, AntiFascist, Gay-Positive, Pro-Feminist" on the cover and I can't even count the number of songs with lyrics that are brutally scathing and critical of the US government in particular.
2 members of the band are LGBTQ, I know Hannah has kids, if it wasn't their work visas being revoked then it's quite possible they were advised not to go. Either way, these individuals are involved in protest, activism, they're well educated, sharp and very aware. They've toured the US extensively since the 90s, they know what's best for them and right now it's avoiding the clownshow.

Detailed Army plans for a potential military parade on President Donald Trump’s birthday in June call for more than 6,600 soldiers, at least 150 vehicles, 50 helicopters, seven bands and possibly a couple thousand civilians, The Associated Press has learned.
258 million American lives saved in Trump's first 100 days is 75% of their entire population... I wonder if everyone knows how near death they actually were, really makes you think doesn't it?

Yeah, how about federally mandated paid maternity leave. Like every other civilized nation does?
Plus I'm not sure how they'll manage the program, paying out only for pink faced babies.

He was squawking about this last term also, but it didn't happen.
It will be interesting if this actually materializes.
I can imagine him beaming in his white military uniform with a comical number of decorations on it looking like the fat #### Goering himself.
EDIT: The difference this time is the Army itself is potentially planning a parade for the Army's 250th anniversary. It just coincides with Trump's birthday so you know his people will frame this as a parade for the god-king.
