They are dead last in bad speed . And Vladdy is near the top of the league . Imagine how slow the rest of the team is .

This slap it opposite field for singles is the dumbest approach in the MLB. Bichette encompasses everything wrong with their approaches at the plate (although he’s good enough at least he can be a no power slap hitting 7th hitter on a good team)

Have to finish the job now. Clutch by Santander though.
Is it a coincidence that the bats came alive after the hitting coach was ejected?

Very risky by Vlad. He was out if the ball didn't hit him. Looks like he ate as many hotdogs as Bluejays yesterday, the way he was "running".

Well this is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. A fan in Pittsburgh jumped/fell 21 feet onto the field.

Mildly not safe for work. There’s no blood but it’s still somewhat distressing to see someone fall 20 feet. According to reports he lived but is in pretty rough shape

Anecdotal but it feels like MLB has a much higher volume of fan incidents, deaths than other sports? Especially falls.

2019 - fan killed by foul ball at Dodger stadium (dodgers tried to not say anything publicly until the family posted on social media forcing them to)
2018 - fan dies reaching for tossed ball at Texas Rangers game
2017 - fan dies after fall in stadium as game was ending at Wrigley field
2015 - fan critically injured by broken bat at Red Sox game
2013 - fan dies after fatal fight over rivalry at Dodgers/Giants game
2013 - fans dies at Atlanta Braves game after falling from upper deck to lower deck
2011 - fan falls and dies trying to catch ball at Texas Rangers game
2011 - fans falls down staircase and dies at Rockies game
2010 - fan falls 30 feet trying to catch foul ball and dies at Rockies game
2008 - fans falls to death at Shea Stadium in New York

Yeah, that was a break that went their way for sure. Vladdy is out there and

You have to know it pissed off Kirk that they intentionally walked two guys to get to him in a game he had already homered.

The Ryan Yarbrough decision is still looking like a mistake after April. He has more innings pitched than every Jays' reliever except Hoffman (they're both 15 1/3).

By ERA he'd behind 6 guys in Jays bullpen, (Garcia, Hoffman, Sandlin, Fluharty, Little, and Schultz ahead) although Sandlin/Schultz have pitched so little that they're really only one spot. So he's ahead of Green, Lauer, Rodriguez, Tate, Barnes, Walker, Lawrence, and Lovelady). Not saying he'd be the closer but he's better at the bottom of the pen than the current options and the length would have been helpful multiple times.

If you don't like ERA the result with WHIP is almost exactly the same - he'd still be behind 6 guys but you swap Lauer and Little.

I mean, he doesn't hit for power out of the bullpen so he wouldn't address the biggest issue on the team, but making the right decision at the margins makes a difference.

Yarbrough isn't great but he provided starting depth. Which the Jays lacked even with him on the roster.

Yeah. Nobody is saying he should replace Berrios/Gausman/Bassitt , but I don't think there has been any point during the season where he would have been the worst pitcher on the roster. So they should have kept him.

Brian O'Nora sucks ass. He's the stupid ump who ruined Armando Gallaraga's perfect game attempt many years ago. That was bad. As was this incorrect check swing strkie 3 call he just made on Bo.
