Most mock drafts have us taking Connor Shay #1 overall. Team sounds like they want guys who can play now which makes sense.
Some chatter Hamilton might move up.
Shay got a camp invite from the Jets. Rourke was taken in the 7th round by San Fran.

I think Rourke could be in the CFL within 3 years or less.

I would take a chance on him in a later round he is going into a great situation to learn in the NFL.

I did see that Connor Shay has accepted a rookie mini-camp invite from both the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets ergo there is considerable NFL interest in him.

Confused it shows he accepted both Packers and Jets? You can go to both?
Dave wants the player in camp and not missing any time. I wonder if this changes our big board.

I don't think it's a formal commitment to a team and if they're scheduled at different times, a player can attend multiple rookie camps. As for changing the big board, it likely could, but I think all CFL teams are dealing with the dilemma. Do we draft the player knowing he could make a NFL team?

It would be funny if one day all the CFL punters are Australian.

I think we might see Canadian QB Taylor Elgersma even sooner and I'm not sure he's that much of a downgrade from Kurtis Rourke.

The Stamps are on the clock for the first pick in the CFL draft...
Stamps select receiver Damien Alford from Utah.

Alford is going to a mini-camp with the Kansas City Chiefs, but if things don't work out, he sounds like he won't be looking for any other NFL opportunities and will be heading north to Calgary.

Surprised but not surprised based on wanting players in camp. Rookie camp also is when our camp opens

allowing 12 pressures and zero sacks on 421 pass-blocking snaps.
1 year starter. Seems like a good pass blocker, but not as athletic run blocking.

Lol, we need lineman so good pick.
Does make sense Dave did say that he wanted to go get weapons for Adams Jr.
Got him a receiver and someone to keep him upright.

With the 17th overall pick, the Stamps select Quincy Vaughn, a QB converted to tight end. Interesting selection.
