Dominate 40 minutes, press the play, forecheck hard, make the Oilers make mistakes. Have a lead going into the 3rd... Some how the game strategy for the final 20 is always sit back and play defense in their own zone, and it costs them almost every time, yet it never changes. Just incredibly dumb hockey from the Kings.

The Kings just don't have it mentally.

They are by far the better team depth wise. But none of their players have the killer instinct.

Those cups they won they had leaders like Richard's and Williams in the locker room. This team sucks.

Basically the 4th year in a row as well. NHL playoff formatting is atrocious. If giving the Oilers a first round bye every year isn't enough to fix this mess than nothing will.
