There has been a strange switch in the last handful of years. It used to be progressives were constantly crying wolf and waiting for the sky to fall. Now when I talk to conservatives they are so anxious and fear mongering.

I had never heard this until reading it on CP. Later that day I was talking to several people who had all taken their own pens and used then in the advance polls because of the rampant fraud and tampering that occurs. Their are a lot of people out their with tin foil hats.

Ah, so today we found out that they actually weren't ready with that Friday version. That version forgot an important piece of their costed platform that they must have added in over the weekend.

The war against 'woke ideology' was retroactively added in to the platform today.

And that's the thing I dont' get about PP. If I listen to him speak it seems like he wants us to believe we are in some sort of dystopian Mad Max world thanks to the Liberals. "Canada is broken"

And I just fundamentally don't think that's the case. Comments like the ones above and the debate section on crime just seem like insane hyperbole....I'm not afraid to open my door and go outside. I'm not hunting and gathering for food. Is my grocery bill a bit higher than I'd like, sure. Do I have to walk by people that are unhoused and on drugs, sure, at times. Would I prefer that I didn't have to get a fort-knox style lock to secure my bike so that it's not stolen by a crackhead? Yes. But there's a long way to go between those minor hardships and hunting/gathering and the collapse of Canadian society.

Canada is ####ing great and we're lucky to live here. It's not broken. Are there opportunities? Do we need a tune-up? Sure. Do I love everything Trudeau did? No.
But there's a lotta ####ing great things that we should be thankful for as well.

And that's the Trump approach that PP was harnessing, it got pretty repulsive after seeing what the orange clown has done over the past few months.

Get people angry about immigrants, crime, some other unknown enemy that will perpetrate violence against you. Claim that only he can save us with his "common sense". Lauch a campaign of negativity, nothing but insults and attacks. All while aligning with Rebel News and trucker convey conspiracy nuts, PP can get ####ed.

The whole plastic straws thing is crazy. There is concrete evidence that they are finding micro plastics in placenta, mothers are transferring the plastic in their bodies into their unborn children. That is totally alarming and trumps any conversation about how a straw feels in your mouth.

Thanks for sharing this information. 17 points is striking if that is accurate over 7.2 million ballots. If true, there is no path for even a minority Conservative government.

The Liberals are -344 right now to win more seats than the Conservatives. Free money. I just went down to my bank to free up some more money, put another thirty grand on it.

It's obviously a small sub-section of a regular poll since they weren't specifically targeting people who voted so we are looking at a wide MoE, but if that number remains even close, say +10... We are going to see a ridiculously strong mandate for a party that was just hoping to stay in the role of official opposition five months ago.
