Yeah, still think that has to do with the build and how it was booked though.
The matches themselves had some really cool stuff (Reverse 450 Senton!) but the build was just poor.
Jey vs Gunther was fine IMO and I think hating on Jey is just the IWC's thing right now, but the match was okay. The finish felt off, but think it was a call to how fast Gunthier tapped out against Ilya to lose the NXT title.
New Day vs War Raiders...this one felt like a Raw match...really should have been Smackdown Tag TLC tonight (which had a much better build) and then this match on Raw After Mania.
Jade vs Naomi ... TBH they probably should have just had this be a triple threat with Bianca too. Would have been a less awkward close to the story and would have helped protect Jade more. Iyo vs Rhea could have carried on it's own, or even Iyo vs Rhea vs Liv would have made sense too.
Fatu with LA Knight... thought this was a good match. Fatu is a future star. The Moonsault into the BFT was cool even if the camera's didn't catch it well.
El Grande Amerianco vs Rey Fenix ... have to think there was something more planned here that was thrown for a swerve with Mysterio being hurt but the 450 reverse senton was crazy and still a decent match as a whole.
Tiffany vs Charlotte... personally I thought it was fine. They were super stiff, and ended up being a bit sloppy but the match and intensity felt pretty real.
Main Event ... the ending was predictable but was executed to perfection. Which is the good type of predictable, don't need any of the Vince McMahon swerve for a sake of a swerve in that match.
I'd probably give it like a 7.5 / 10 as a whole. Lots of 7/10 matches with only the Main Event being a great match. But 39 and 40 were so great that it's disappointing comparatively.
