Much more parity in the East where the worst team in the East right now is actually Boston(!) with a .463 point percentage.
When you look at the conferences as a whole - they are almost exactly equal. The west has more decent to good teams to make up for its 3 terrible teams.

Have to cheer for Carolina for the draft seeding but I think Markstrom may lend a hand in helping the Flames anyway.

Some what of a peculiar choice, Canes going with Andersen in net and Kochetkov backing him up.

Markstrom has his work cut out in this game.

He's on pace to get 60+ SOG.

That worries me. He plays much better under a heavy workload.

Surprised the devils didnt challenge for goalie interference on that goal. We’ve see goals overturned for less.

Seemed like the puck went in before the contact was made.

I totally agree. But the way the NHL seems to flip a coin on some of those calls…

I'm convinced that's exactly what they do for goal reviews. Situation room flips, in-game officials call. If they're right, the call on the ice stands. If not, it's overturned.

6 shots by the Devils in 25 minutes. Not good, Bob.

The shots are 28-8 holy ####

Maybe if the Devils & Habs both get swept, it'll give the league another reason to take a hard look at the playoff format.

Said it for years, the Devils aren't built for the playoffs. People get mesmerized by their regular season play.

Hope Dillon is all right. Might be a pinched nerve the way he was reacting. I speak from experience in that regard. And a PP for the Canes. Devils aren't in this game yet.
