Ice-breaker activities during meetings, at least 98% of them. I've had a rare decent one, but it's usually cringe-worthy.
They had us in a circle passing around a ball to music. Whoever held it when the music stopped had to say what leadership means to them. On one round, a very shy woman in our office ended up with it, she looked like she wanted to die.
After several rounds of that, they doubled down on it and made us do it again, this time saying what you're thankful for. Just turned into employer arse-kissing, "I'm thankful for such great co-workers/employer", etc etc. Felt so fake.
Like what was the point of that? The majority of people clearly hated it; basically played hot potato with the ball, mortified the music would stop on them lol.

I mean, it's a tongue-in-cheek joke.
I actually don't eat a ton of eggs in general.

What the hell? How old are you?
If that were me some clown would be needing to that ball surgically removed.

Given most of our bosses, including our VP was there, apparently they think we're 5. It was actually a couple young interns' idea, for some leadership thing they had to do. I can tell afterwards they actually felt they had nailed the assignment too.

It’s always one driver causing all of this. I guarantee at the very front it is some struggler tapping their brakes for every turn or just in Sunday driving mode.

There is this very irritating push lately by managers to shoehorn AI into everything. No doubt because of Google’s recent AI conference, but damn, it isn’t for everything.

They're pork meatballs that don't have a coarse texture, right? Asian grocery stores, T&T. Try the frozen section, it's also often an ingredient for hot pot. Spongey texture wise, there's fish cakes and beef balls that also have that similar texture that is often used in soups. Ask an employee about meatballs for hot pot/pork meatballs and they should be able to point you in the direction of it.
Seriously speaking, beyond soups, they're also awesome roasted over the fire, especially fish balls and cuttlefish balls. I'd rather that any day over S'mores.

I read once that AI is automatic plagiarism software. I've used that phrase ever since.
No one else has any ideas, so they just copy the same thing and slap it into all software.
I remember the era of bloatware and memory leaks... AI is already starting to replicate that all over again.
