I didn't catch the whole game, but in 45-ish minutes he did not miss a pass.
And they were concerned about starting this guy?
I'd have taken him over a half-dead Andersson, easily.

The Flames already have two potential superstars in Wolf and Parekh. Some teams need 4-5 high level picks to get that. The rebuild is going better than many posters think. The Flames were as close to being a playoff team as you can without being a playoff team, but had the league's lowest cap hit.

And TBH I wouldn't rule out the rest of our 2024 draft crop yielding one more "star" level player, maybe not a superstar, but someone at Coronato's potential.

Neither was the game vs ANA, where we went 0 for 6 on the PP and blew a late lead to lose in OT. We would literally be in the playoffs right now with that one extra point.
