I know it was meaningless but that was a fun game.

Isn't that what we're here for? The fun?

Great effort. Heartbreaking that flames were 31 seconds away, in minny last game, from making playoffs

I know a lot of people are probably lamenting us missing the playoffs by a hair and how we could’ve been playing Parekh and others earlier. And a number of us have been saying that we’re probably going to regress next year.

And while I too feel that maybe if we had played some of these guys earlier the result could have been different, I don’t think we’re going to regress next year (barring injury or other unforeseen circumstances). Missing by the smallest of margins I think is only going to make this team hungrier and having Wolf and Zayne and graduating others like Bru and Morton graduate to the team I think is going to get us in next year. I just have a feeling - I don’t think this team is missing next year.

Least disappointing finish to the season for this team that I can remember from a performance perspective.

They over-achieved and did everything that could be asked of them and arguably more.

Not often that I could confidently say that about this team over the years.

They have nothing to hang their heads about. They took care of their end in the final week. They even defied the snek.

What a fun game
That Morton goal and the celebration was just awesome
That guy didn’t have any easy path to the NHL

Hard to be negative on much this year.
Deserved playoffs, worked hard almost every night, great group, great stories. Really enjoyable season in an unexpected way.

We are all Kings fans now

Might have to get an AHL playoff pass to catch the wranglers, hopefully they can win a round

Annoying that with 96 points and 15th OV in the NHL we don't have playoffs to look forward to
If you beat the team you're directly competing with, that should be an auto-in.

They took Minny behind the woodshed in that game.

Those losers should be sitting out.

The way the season has ended might bode very well heading into camp next year.

Big Sieve Dave.

But that Morton celebration by everyone on the ice was just awesome. Pure joy. This team deserved more.

Except for the hot secs.

But outside of that she was great. And there's nothing wrong with a little inadvertent comic relief.

Like Ryan Leslie with his own "sex" slip moment.
