Yeah, I had some old stuff though and it didn't do much.

Friends who've had enough of fresh stuff say it's pretty intense. Don't do it by yourself, you'll want someone around so you don't hurt yourself (falling over and hitting your head, falling out of a third story window, whatever) while your mind is somewher else. It's called a trip sitter. And seriously, this is not a silly precaution. Don't risk a concussion.

It rings a bell. I think I tried it a couple years ago. IIRC, I was completely fazooked for about a minute. I kinda wondered if I had just done crack.

Now that I think about it, that was the only time I've doen any drugs since a couple years out of high school (Amsterdam excluded).

yeah it's pretty crazy. you are in your own world for about 15-20 mins.

mine wasn't so much hallucinations as it was i was in a dream world for a while.

Smoked that many a time. Delightful experience. Made my visual experiences extremely intense. Changed my depth perception, caused hallucinations, altered how I was seeing colours, and at the end I always felt totally refreshed. It was almost worth taking it just for how clear-headed, relaxed and energized I would feel after it. The smoking is extremely harsh though, and it's probably different for different people.

I had a friend go so crazy on that crap he took a baseball bat a neighbour of one of our friends while sitting around a campfire.

It took 3 guys to restrain him, then after assuring everyone he had calmed down, he spaced out again in 20 seconds and went after someone else.

This stuff messed me right up. I was seeing sstuff and couldn't control a thing I was doing. It also made me feel like something was really pushing me hard from the left side. I couldn't stop sliding to the right. I would never do it again.

i don't know if we had bad stuff or something, but when i did it with my friends, it didn't really do anything to any of us. and none of my friends are drug users.

If you're not used to using powerful psychoactives, you won't be prepared for what's coming.

Salvia is legal, best used when leaves are packed tightly into the bowl of a water bong (Gravity bong = THE best for salvia). Use a torch lighter so you burn it as quickly as possible (this is important). It's not really a 'social' thing, best done for the first time with a 'spotter'.

The experience lasts on average 5-15 minutes, with down time anywhere from an hour to a couple.

I wouldn't suggest mixing it with alcohol, either.

Effects are similar to a high dose of Psilocybe, but with much shorter experience windows.

There isn't anything terrifying about it, and it only lasts a little while. Just make sure you aren't in a seriously bad mood before you do it, otherwise those emotions will manifest themselves far more strongly.

I tried this stuff a few weeks ago at my friends while watching Pardon The Interuption on TSN (our daily mid day ritual) and it didn't do a thing for me. I am no stranger to smoking weed so maybe that had something to do with how little the Salvia did for me. Maybe I've built up a resistance.

smoking it actually isn't the best method...a slow chew without spitting out the juices until it kicks in followed by smoking it is the best way.
