All the strength of schedule stuff goes out the window in the last few games, been calling it for weeks. Not to say its easy but its easier than it could have been.

I would rather play this Vegas roster tonight than Utah

Samsonov's first game back after missing the last eight. Vegas trying to get him such action before the playoffs but hopefully he's not 100% (or he is 100% the inconsistent goalie who cost the Leafs their season last year).

NGL, I have a higher than average bpm sitting at my work desk, I feel somewhat nautious when I think about tonight. This is the most excited and nervous I have been about the Flames in what feels like forever. I love it.

I think the hardest part of this is having to rely on others regardless of what happens here. That's tough but I'm trying not to over think it. Just hoping the Flames come out and play hard an score a bunch of goals in the first 40 mins just in case one of the other two games have ended favorably.

It's worse than playoff gameday nerves, because we're hoping for 2/3 results to go our way than for just our team to not lose 1 of 7.

Exactly, today I'm not just hoping the Flames not to poo the bed, I'm also hoping 2 other teams not to poo the bed.

I've had to miss watching the last two due to life so I will be missing the game and doing some life stuff tonight to keep the streak alive. I'd say I'll keep up with the game thread but I would rather stab myself in the junk with a fork for the entire game :-)

That's some weird "life stuff" you're into.

Both refs from Quebec... Habs benefit massively if we lose... what could go wrong?

Massively? They get the 16th overall pick instead of 19th?

St-Tite just outside of quebec city. At least the one ref should hate the habs as much as the other loves them, in theory

Hehe, the Flames are going to win, no excuses.

How do the Habs benefit again? Move up 2 spots at the draft + Hutson securing the Calder over Wolf, was there anything else?

I’m certain Vegas would rather play Calgary in round 1 than Minnesota.
