I’m keeping everything off until one of the Blues/Wild results makes it so the flames have a chance. Then I’ll turn the flames game on.

I can't find it now but was it Nazem Kadri who shot down a reporter near the start of the season who was asking about the Flames being projected to be a bottom five team and Kadri said something like "Well, there's a lot of people writing us off but we haven't even played the games yet. We are going to surprise a lot of people."
Something like that anyhow.
I've been thinking about that quote a lot the past couple weeks and what an amazing season for the Flames to be one of the final teams battling for a playoff spot, the emergence of Dustin Wolf who once again rises to the occasion, the development of our young players, our unheralded players, our veteran leaders. If it weren't for our terrible OT record, we'd likely be in the playoffs for sure.
No matter what happens tonight, I think all of us will remember this season very fondly!

That sounds good in theory, but I couldn't do it like that.
You gotta figure the Wild/Blues games would have updates on the Flames game as it happens, either an announcer or some kind of update graphic on screen.

While there are fewer and fewer benefits of being a Canadian in the US these days, ESPN+ app on AppleTV multiview is one of them. Flames on the primary and split screen Wild vs. Ducks and Blues vs. Utah on the other half of the screen.

NHL.tv has a feature like that...need a VPN to use it in Canada though
I put a couple cheap TVs on my sidewall to keep an eye on other games though

I want Parekh to play, but I can understand why he's not. I don't like it but I can understand. But if Conroy had said he would and then pulled the rug out, I'd probably be livid.

I've already done laptop on the coffee table, Flames on the TV a couple times already over the last couple weeks whenever STL/MIN/VAN have been playing at the same time. Would recommend!
