I wonder if tariff wars will put a chill on the industry.
I've been hearing about several Canadian artists who had planned U.S. tours for this year, but have now cancelled. Not so much because of tariffs, but more due to fears about being detained at the border or denied entry.
And it looks like international artists are starting to do the same.
I wonder if tariff wars will put a chill on the industry.
The last thing we need is for vinyl to get even more expensive.
I thought about going to Montana to see Drive-by Truckers but there's no way I'm heading South now. I know the chances of being detained, or even disappeared, are extremely low but I've said enough about Trump, and how I want to to die a humiliating, painful death, that I it's not worth the risk of being denied entry.

If you still want to see the Truckers this summer while avoiding the U.S., they’re playing the Commodore in Vancouver on June 12th.

I didn’t realize Fishbone was still active. That’s awesome. There’s a great documentary about those guys that came out a few years ago called Everyday Sunshine. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re a fan. It’s excellent.
