When the Flames make it to the dance, I'll pop my non-alcoholic Champagne. (It's non-alcoholic because I'm 10 years sober.)

I think Utah will take care of business for us. Not sure about Anaheim

Don't ask me why, I feel almost opposite. Minny lays an egg at home, a Flames-y outcome for them.

I did see a Blues fan on X noting that the Blues have a bad record against Utah/Arizona, so there's that too I suppose.

I don't I just want this to happen so bad, or at least for a chance for the Flames to control their own destiny for the first time in a long time.

To say I'm excited for tomorrow would be an understatement, bring it on!

If only the Canucks could have held on Saturday night...

You can never count on them for anything.

Utah owes us one, we're 0-3 against them this year.

If the Oil win tonight the Kings will likely need to beat the Flames for the 2 seed.

Please don't call them the Oil, it makes it seem like you are a fan.

If it works that way, ANA kind of owes us too for what they did to us (both with respect to our last game against them but all those dreadful 'you can't win here' era)

In any case, I like the idea that they both owe us and they know that Both teams losing in regulation would be best case scenario

And Flames will beat them anyway since we we'll want them more.

If Flames clinch with win or LAK clinch 2nd and home ice against the coilers with win, it's a playoff game in itself.

Kings have the RW tiebreaker. If they lose tonight, the Oilers will be tied with them in points, but still trail them in seeding.

Kings have 2 games remaining and Oilers 1 after tonight. So if the Kings beat Seattle in game 81 then they will also clinch before playing us in that last game.

The Oilers also play SJ on the 16th before the Kings play us on the 17th. So for that last game to be meaningful for LA. Oilers need to beat the Kings tonight in regulation, have the Kings lose to Seattle tomorrow in regulation, and the Oilers beat SJ in their last game. That is probably a tall order before the Oilers were down a bunch of players. As they said on Barn Burner, LA needs to set the tone in this game.

Utah's rookie goalie, Villalta was scheduled to start tomorrow vs. Blues. I see he is now starting today vs. Nashville with Utah's number 1, Vejmelka starting tomorrow! Nothing is guaranteed, but this is great news!

Default The Playoff Hunt. Flames Vs Wild Vs Blues

Not sure what the point of sharing this is, but my DREAM scenario:

MIN loses to ANA
STL loses to UTA in any fashion
CGY beats VGK
CGY beats LA

MIN gets bumped to WC2 and its WPG vs MIN first round, CGY vs VGK first round.

If I was an online sports gambler I would 'parlay' the above scenario for a possible windfall. However, despite the never ending invitations to get into online sports gambling, I have managed to know to stay out of that rabbit hole.

5 bucks parlays into 81.00.
Bet placed, fingers crossed.

Only 3 games
Couldn’t do the CGY beats LA

It makes sense for player development too. They want their young guys pushing hard and hopefully winning an important game as spoiler. Give them a bit of a playoff experience without being in the playoffs.

St. Louis should be in for a tough game.

Maloney called in some favours from his old team?

Definitely wouldn't swap for that but certainly wish it was LA or Tampa that need wins to lock up home ice.

So Murray must have sent Ryan Smith some Alberta beef or something in ask for the swap.

Exactly. Went to university up there, that's the same pet name Grease fans use for their beloved greaseball team.

I won’t even know what game to watch tomorrow, probably have the flames game on but be glued to my phone checking the other scores the whole time.
