My son just landed his first job out of university and it looks like one of the projects he will be assigned to is the new event centre. Which is kinda cool IMHO.

when you get Van Hellemond and Swede Knox in 1980 you know you are getting the 'A' level treatment


those Flames firsts are a great read- call outs to Irene Besse and Sus(ie)an Smith, throwbacks to Tardif and Jodzio, mentions of a young Jim Peplinski etc

Some of my photos of Scotia Place construction progress taken yesterday, June 12, 2025. The first eight photos look down on the SE corner of the site where the Community Arena will be. The last two photos are from the NW corner, looking south toward where the loading dock and main arena will be.
