Scoring Winger

Even with the "..." it's still a hard-to-read wall of text, at least for me.
I'm just being nitpicky, I really do appreciate the work it takes to type these up after every game.

Flames had a worse start tonight than in San Jose last week.
In San Jose: 17 first-period shots and one goal on Dustin Wolf.
Tonight: Gave up 11 shots and a goal in the first 5 minutes — unacceptable.
Flames seemed to wake up after the slow start, thanks to Wolf.
Tied the game on a Mackenzie Weegar five-on-five goal.
Interesting lineup move: Joel Farabee on the fourth line.
Huska appears to be rotating Klapka, Pospisil, and now Farabee as the odd man out in the top nine.
Would be more interesting if Connor Zary was back.
Marc-Édouard Vlasic's situation with the Sharks:
Former core player of dominant teams.
Now in year 19 with over 1300 games — long after most teammates have moved on.
Flames took the lead:
Great play by Nazem Kadri to beat a defender and set up Adam Klapka for his 5th goal of the season.
Question raised about Kadri’s long shifts:
Flames usually rotate powerplay units after a minute.
Kadri sometimes stays out for two — curious how teammates like Blake Coleman feel about that.
After the first 5 minutes, Flames outshot opponents 22–9 until end of second period.
Morgan Frost had a rough night:
Skilled player, but tries to do too much everywhere on the ice.
Too many turnovers in dangerous spots.
Did record a great assist in the third on Sharangovich’s goal.
Mikael Backlund looking like his younger self:
Likely had been playing through injuries earlier.
Has been a force lately.
Yegor Sharangovich heating up:
On track for 25+ goals next season if healthy from the start.
Scored the go-ahead goal in the third — third straight game with a goal.
Now at 100 career goals, 17 on the season.
Added an empty-netter — predicted he’d get to 20 before Christmas, might fall just short.
Adam Klapka’s development:
Great story, proving doubters wrong.
Still doesn’t mesh well with top-line players like Kadri and Huberdeau due to limited puck skills.
Effective in front of the net — could be a net-front presence on second powerplay unit.
Matt Coronato with a pure goal-scorer’s finish:
Took a pass off his skate and fired it quickly.
24 goals on the season — had hoped for 20, now pushing for 25.
Great setup from Mikael Backlund.

That starts to look like a long ugly section in a game story though.

Powerplay Quarterback

Personally, I like the ... thoughts. Reminds me of old Eric Duhatschek's articles from the Herald when I was growing up.

It didn't format the bullets properly. It looks cleaner with the bullets.
But I agree the information is great, it's just hard to read.

It's fine the way it is. It's a brain/information dump. Doesn't need to be formatted. Lots of other sites and writers do it that way.
