I actually think he's a decent bet to be at least a back up goalie in a couple years. Glad to see him staying in N.A.

He is special! Very excited!
Goalies selected in the 7th round will rule the league!
For those who may not remember, Sergeev was once ranked as the 7th best drafted NHL prospect in the NCAA by one publication; that was ahead of Coronato who was ranked just below him

I wasn't too worried about him signing after Conroy mentioned him specifically a couple of weeks ago in regards to our college prospects. I guess you never really know until it's done though.

I suspect Murphy and Ignatjew move on and will be replaced by Say and Sergeev respectively. I figured that Cooley would take over for Vladar, but I am not so sure now given that his play really dropped off in the AHL.

I think he was referring to the contract starting in 2025-26 season, and can he play for the Wranglers now.

Glad to hear this. He has a real path to the show by signing with the Flames. There was some concern he might declare himself a free agent in June via a loophole.
