Why Huska didn't call a T/O is puzzling. Oh well, we all learn by our mistakes. Him too.
not true, they need 2 if the Flames beat them in regulation

Also, its not like the Ducks were all over the Flames...they scored on their one chance in like 10 mins. TO is hindsight...players can't allow that chance 5 seconds after a faceoff

They only got that 3-1 lead in the first place due to an awful defensive collapse by the Ducks. No excuses for either team when it's 1-1 in the middle of the third.

I don’t like Huska and company at all but that’s just me.

Unfortunately don’t think we will see a new coaching staff for next season.

The third goal should have been the insurance goal. To let in 2 in five seconds, in the situation they are in, is inexcusable. I do not care who you’re playing but you can’t choke like that in a do or die game. Losers.

Okay? I said there's a chance, that's all. I choose to keep cheering before a long summer awaits us. If you want to pack it in now, go for it. To each their own. I'm invested right to the end, why not? It's just a game.

Flames win 4 games.

STL go 1-1 or worse in their 2 games.

I still believe.

Even if they don't call a time out why would you put Weegar Hanley out there the very next shift after they played like crap on the 2nd goal.

Wolf has won us so many games this year.

I think in a game where our PP went 0/6 and we lost by one in overtime it's kinda weak to complain about Wolf's performance.

The Athletic reported at the last meeting there was a loud sentiment from GM's and owners to change the playoff format and Bettman said he was not interested in that. Gary Bettman is the commissioner of the NHL and over the years he has become more set on what he wants first. Maybe they figure he will retire soon anyhow and they can revisit it but I don't think everything Bettman does nowadays is in what the owners would like or the Board Of Governors and more of how he wants the league to be. I mean you can't tell me owners of hockey teams like game management but we know 100% it's a thing.

Flames need to win out to get to 96

Blues lose 1/2 remaining and are at 95

Wild lose 1/2 of the non head to head games and they are at 95

There is still a chance. Would have been nice to be able to rely on an OT loss in another game but TBH the result doesn't change a whole lot.

Flames probably always needed to get to 96 and hope one of these teams were stuck at 95.

Please. Please play Parekh and Suniev on Friday. If Frost is hurt, move Sharangovich/Posposil to center again and bring in Suniev as he fill in winger. Not ideal but you have to give it a try.

Sit either Hanley or Bean. Pretty sure it was Hanley with the bad reads on both the 2nd and 3rd goals for Anaheim. Put him with Weegar and move Weegar over to the left side if he’s the only right hand shot that can do that.

Minny needs 3 points to officially eliminate us, not 1.

We can still get to 96

Yeah honestly the math doesn't change much...the one point breaks potential tie breakers...they still need all the wins

He also had no time to mentally recover because Huska was too dumb to call a time out and settle the team. PP has one move, the bump back is exactly the same every time and teams just camp out waiting for it.
