I entered some cheeky limit orders on positions I wanted to add too that didn't fill.

My USD accounts are 100% in cash and only because we took our time getting everything set up. Will start to dribble that into the market over the next months.

This isn’t advice, but the market had issues before the tariffs, and those tariffs are still there just reduced. And, of course, this is a 90-day reprieve. It’s going to be really interesting to see where we go from here and how well things hold up. It’s hard to say whether Monday was the low and we continue to rise from here or there’s more pain to come.

I'm nowhere near smart enough to know if the bottom is in or if there is pain to come, but I do know that the VIX being above 30 means more of the markets whipsawing around as they have been.

I had been making very tiny purchases on down days up until Friday. Yesterday, I made a few small sales.

This market is a clown show dominated by meme stock era investors.

I mean, the two go hand in hand, so it's not remotely surprising. Yesterday was the 8th biggest gain in S&P history. The other top 20 gain days weren't exactly in the best of times:

Great Depression (13 of the 20 days)
Late 2008 GFC (2 days)
COVID Crash (2 days)
1987 Crash (1 day)
Outbreak of WWII (1 day)
