It’s odd. I thought when a player hit a player in the head, it was the person who got hit that was to blame due to previous transgressions? In this example, Perry (who knows a thing or two about dirty play, diving, and embellishment, in case there are any concerns), must have deserved it due to his negative actions previously.

A citation? Mcdavid headshot on Garland. I’m led to believe that Mavi finally snapped and garland deserved it.

I think the Oilers are load managing McDavid and Skinner. Not sure about all the other injures but I think they are saving those two for the playoffs.

Boy, all that outrage about hiring a sexual-assault enabler as a GM sure died down as soon as the season starts. I wonder what happened to all those Oilers fans who said they were selling their season tickets in protest.

I thought the league had a rule against that.

I think this is going to become a regular thing if McDavid stays in Bumonton.

Going to Mark Stone the regular season a lot. One, because he's come down off his peak form and can't win the scoring race as easily as he did for a few years, so sitting time out will give him a nice excuse to not be in contention, as well as getting beat out by his teammate Draisaitl. And two, because he's actually been played so much and his body doesn't have the durability it once did.

He also cares less for the regular season after getting oh so close but no cigar and will want to be as well rested for playoffs as he can be as he's desperate for the hardware that matters, of which he has none to his name.

They are gonna barely make the playoffs though, and aren't getting any better

If Vancouver/Calgary had slightly more push this season they would actually be in serious trouble right now

Their depth is very derpth-y again these days.

It's a very bad team without McDavid, Draisaitl and Ekholm.

Can't give Skinner any credit because he's literally worse than Pickard this year lol.

If the Flames were ####ed out of one or two less results, they may actually have booted them from the playoffs this year. Stupid refs/situation room and their Flames vendetta.

Draisaitl, McDavid, Ekholm, Skinner and Klingberg were seen this morning with shovels at the dirt lot across from Rogers. Practicing their digging in.

RNH was seen nearby. Doing nothing.

with 5 games left, interesting to check in on how things are going with the Sure Fire Seven

Oilers Possess 7 Sure Fire 30-Goal Scorers - Yahoo Sports

Number of Oiler 30 goal scorers to date: 1
Number of Flames 30 goal scorers to date: 1

who else will hit 30? the candidates are

J Huberdeau 28
Z Hyman 27
C McDavid 26
D Holloway 26

lets see if the Sure Fire 7 Oilers end up with more 30 goal scorers than the sad sack Flames, or Dylan Holloway (I know he's injured)!

McDavid is playing tonight. Safe to say they are worried about playoffs and are therefore rushing him back. Idiots!!!
