Put Parekh in the lineup to give the Flames the best chance of making the playoffs. He would already be the at least the 4th best Man on the Flames.
It also could give the team a boost of energy to make a run.

I dont think hes underrated. He pushes the play, is physical and plays a 200ft game. Now if he was closer to a 20 goal 50 point guy with his style. That would be another level. Hes currently at 4 goals and 24 points playing top 6 minutes.
I believe hes a little snake bitten and can probably settle into a 15 goal 45 point player.

Plus Makar was almost 21 and played 2 whole seasons after being drafted and Parekh is 19, just drafted

But again, they shouldn't need it. If knowing your season is on the line isn't enough to give you a boost then nothing will.
