The season started well but didn't hit the high marks it had in previous seasons as it went along.

Still one of my favorite shows and characters on TV right now.

Thats great! Clarkson is obviously a polarizing figure but I find his shows and content awesome and I really like Clarkson's farm.

It's not just you. Reacher himself has one, maybe two, expressions and he was the best of the lot. They spent most of their money on production values and cheaped out on direction and acting. Yet, I watched it to its conclusion.

Now it's about Reacher, his PI partner, a kid, the kid's Dad, a deceased special investigator, the perpetrator, the HGH mutant, 3 DEA agents, a captured thug...

I like Reacher. I don't need the rest of the hoi polloi.

The season 2 finale was so bad I haven't watched that show again

Season 3 wasn't great but if you've read the books you shouldn't be expecting too much. They're all ridiculous (I think I read the first 24) and the characters match the unrealistic storylines.

Of all the "Solo Hero" books the Reacher series is by far the worst written with the poorest plots. It's really too bad the studios ruined Mitch Rapp & Court Gentry with terrible movies, they're both much better characters with way better stories.

Reacher seems like one of those shows you feel guilty for having watched too long. Like Sons of anarchy. This is a great show turns into "I cannot believe I continued to watch this drivel for far too long".

I feel 'prestige TV' has ruined our expectations a bit. Nothing needs to be the Wire, Sopranos etc.

Why can't Reacher just be this generations A-Team or Airwolf? It's mindless and silly and sometimes that's ok.

I love really enjoyed every episode of Reacher that I have watched... except the last episode of season 3. The writing on the show had been pretty awkward to bad at many points, with the show being saved by Alan Ritchson being a convincing and fun actor.

But hoooooollllllllyyyyy fuuuuuuuuuck that last episode was some of the worst written, most predictable media I have ever watched. Nothing set up, so much tell don't show, so many cliches, so many obvious moments. It really undid the entire season for me.

While we are grinding shows that could have told the story in less episodes if only there weren’t odd misses/leaps through police procedures, I have to recommend Cross. I’ve read some of the books and I have to credit the writers, directors and actors for this show’s update to 2025.

It was good enough for me to hope that there are more episodes coming!

Binge watched season three of Wheel of Time, even though the first two seasons were so painful. This was the best of the three, but it still was still a series of self-owns, and literally two or three good sequences that felt like the books.

It's so amazing to me, that one destructive force, in showrunner Rafe Judkins, could derail such a well known IP. He's not a strong writer, but half of the series was entirely made up by him. Most of the changes that didn't work were there just to satisfy the current age politicizing that he wanted to do.

And almost exclusively good actors, who were wrong for the roles. Some of the worst casting I've ever seen. Think putting Meryl Streep in the role of Scarface instead of Pacino, because you have a 'type' of face that you like. An example is that there would be a role in season four, who is basically an evil version of Marilyn Monroe (Jordan was very specific in describing how people looked), that Judkins wanted Lizzo for. The whole series was like that.

I could get into nerdy specifics, but it's not worth it. The worst part of it all is that there will not be another attempt to put this to screen again, for a couple of decades, if we are lucky. He really did ruin it for everybody.
