oh ffs ... "obligation to buy" my ass. Just when you think you're fiiiiinally getting rid of one of those overpaid, underperforming flops. No way Chelsea are signing him, he did well there for about 5 games before he morphed back into the ineffective dud he was at United.

Quote:
Chelsea will have to pay Manchester United £5million ($6.4m) if they do not complete the signing of winger Jadon Sancho permanently.

Sancho moved to Stamford Bridge last summer on a season-long loan deal, which included an obligation to buy for up to £25m ($32.3m). But as part of the agreement it was decided that Chelsea could opt against proceeding with the full transfer by giving United a set fee.

United played pretty well today ... problem is you kind of have to score goals in football, and that's a struggle for this team. One counter enough for Forest to win this one.

In any world that Tarkowski challenge would be a Red. What TF was VAR watching? If MacAllister had had his foot planted his leg would have snapped like a twig and that might have been his career.

That was a matter of inches.

The missed call was crazy but otherwise unsurprising, Tarkowski almost injures someone every three or four games, he's somehow made a living as a premier league player by wrestling forwards to the ground and the refs pretty much give him a free pass. He gets a handful of free brutal fouls every game that take away scoring chances before he gets his first yellow.

Heading to Saudi?

He's 33, probably made a boatload of cash off City, but oft injured now on a declining team, maybe time for some fun in the sun?

would be my bet, yeah. His legs are gone, but he can easily make some insane money there for a couple of years before he calls it a day.

Biggest problem, like you said, his legs are dead. He can put a ball on a dime from 50 yards, but who is he going to pass to?

it's the Saudi league, it doesn't matter. Opta had it ranked as the 33rd strongest league in the world a few months ago, I believe.

He's been strongly linked with San Diego in MLS. Surely he has enough in the tank to stand in the centre circle and spray balls around the pitch for another year or two?

MLS is ranked as the ninth-best league in world football according to the Opta Power Rankings, whereas the Saudi Pro League is only as high as 33rd. To give you a better idea of what that means, the average Opta Power Rating of top-tier Saudi teams of 73.6 puts it just behind Colombia’s Primera A and on a level footing with the Greek Super League.

Just behind the Cocaine League and level with the Opa League. Not too bad I guess.

It's been over for a while now lol. Even if Liverpool implode from here, am I supposed to trust Arsenal to chase them down? Not a chance. Would be different if it were City and they weren't a shambles like they are this year. But the parade has been fully planned, as it should be.

Could have been semi interesting if Arsenal won yesterday; with Liverpool's loss today.

That was a defensive disaster by Liverpool in the first half. All three goals were very preventable, although credit to Fulham for finishing well.
