Hard to complain about meaningful hockey in April.

Going back all the way to 2010, it seems the flames have been in similar positions several times where they are chasing that last playoff spot and need to essentially “win out” with a handful of games left. To my recollection I don’t think they have ever pulled it off. Been witching a point or two a few times but just short.

Would love to see this being the year they actually do it. This team deserves it and it would remove the sting of losing the first round pick to Montreal. Let’s go flames! You can do it!

Biggest game of the season. The Dome is going going to be buzzing and the opponent is great because this is the calibre of team they will face as a Wildcard entry. Credit to the players and coaching staff because they are playing really good hockey.

I've been enjoying Klapka's game a lot recently so hopefully he can keep it up. Also, the Farabee-Backlund-Coleman line showed another level of chemistry last game, I thought.

I’m enjoying the fact that the Flames were predicted to be a bottom feeder this season and now most top seed Western conference teams are probably hoping they don’t face them in the first round. Huska has had the Flames playing playoff hockey all season so I think they’re well equipped for a first round upset if only they can get in. Go Flames!
