I dont think you saw the play. He was in tight to the crease with the puck on that side. He literally couldn’t “drive it” or walk it anywhere.

His only play would have been to hold onto it and try and go around the net, in which case everyone would bitch about him not shooting

Frost needs stope doing the Comeau/Andersson move and shoot or make a pass. Shoot low on the pad to create a rebound.
