Drive it or outright walk it into the net. A LHS at that angle didn’t need to go between the legs imo

I dont think you saw the play. He was in tight to the crease with the puck on that side. He literally couldn’t “drive it” or walk it anywhere.
His only play would have been to hold onto it and try and go around the net, in which case everyone would bitch about him not shooting

Agreed. The key is quick-release. Otherwise the goalie has time to move and set.
