Loved that John Cena is going to wreck wrestling and wipe out the legacy of Rick Flair. They are so point on with this story line. they could have been lazy and had Cena say that the Rock offered to make him a bigger movie star.

Instead they've got the Rock nowhere near this, and the reason and promo's have been excellent.

Quite the promo exchange between Cena and Rhodes. References to Vince, Khan, AEW. Love it. Finally gets physical as well.

Cody Rhodes vs John Cena
Rollins v CM Punk v Reigns
Iyo Sky v Belair v Ripley
Charlotte Flair vs Tiffy
AJ Styles vs Logan Paul
Gunther vs Jey Uso
KO vs RKO
Drew Macyntire vs Damien Priest
Jade Cargill vs Naiomi?

Thats about 9, who is LA knight feuding against again? There probably should be a couple of tag team matches in there as well. maybe a match with a stipulation?

In terms of microphone work, Cena remains one of the GOATS. There's not a point that he hits that doesn't make sense, and work. He might not be great in the ring like a Bret or Shawn, but his work ethic in everything he does and his understanding of psychology is really elite and you saw that last night.

There was nothing that was left off the table between Cody and Cena, and Cody is great on the mic don't get me wrong, but Cena elevated him on the mic leaving carefully crafted openings for Cody to attack.

We've seen in the past where Cena has just buried people in the build up to a match, It just is the way.

But that promo was fire, and you know that the retaliation by Cena on Cody can't be on the mic now, its got to be brutal and evil and without mercy and there must be blood.

Dom vs Finn vs Penta vs Bron for the IC title is another one I think.

LA Knight vs Braun vs Jacob Fatu for the US Title is probably another.

War Raiders vs New Day (could be Smackdown or Raw though)

Street Profits defend vs DIY, MCMG, ??? in a ladder match maybe

Liv Morgan, Bayley, Rey Mysterio, Chad Gable, Chelsea Green all feel like they eneed a way onto the card too though.

Only 3 of the 9 (or 13) matches are womens matches. Agree with the proposed card Supermatt mentioned, but I would expect at least 1 more womens match.

Probably Lyra Valkyrie defending, I could see them wanting her to get a WM entrance. Maybe a Ladder match, would get Bayley, Roxanne Perez and whoever else on the card.

Any reason Nia Jax hasnt been on TV?

Yeah another womens match for sure.

There is no way Liv isn't on the mania card IMO, same with Bayley.

I thought we'd get Jax vs. Trish at Mania, but obviously that's not happening. I wonder if/when any big name celebrities will start getting involved, whether that be Rock, Travis Scott, or whoever else.

Would be cool to see Solo join up with the Rock in a new faction. The Rock seeing he cant control Roman, The Usos or Fatu recruits Solo to be his guy to take the belt from Cody. Can have tama tonga and tanga loa and whatever other samoan guy they have buried.

Solo could definetely benefit by getting the Austin Theory vince mcmahon push but reworked from the Rock

Didn't they just do Solo vs. Cody in the run from Mania to Summerslam last year? We really want to go back to that well so soon?

I do wonder if they do cycle back to Old Bloodline vs New Bloodline at some point.

But it's Roman, Jey, Solo, Jimmy, Zilla vs Rock, Jacob, Tama, Tonga Loa, Hikuleo

Bloodline Civil War felt rushed and very anticlimactic with how they did it in the end.

Rusev apparently was at WWE headquarters today to sign a contract. I read weeks ago though that he wasn't expected to come back until later on in the year.

Rusev, Andrade, and Aleister Black are the poster boys of ex-WWE guys who went to AEW just to collect a paycheck.

I'm glad TK seems to have largely learned his lesson there. Next lesson is to start cutting guys you aren't doing anything with.

Not sure about Aleister Black. I think his back injury literally did him in and he just never got the momentum back.

Andrade and Rusev? 100 Percent, or at the very least expected to come in and be at the top of the card immediately and when that didn't happen wanted out.

I think part of the problem is they were sold by Kahn they would be main eventers.

Then I think guys like Danielson, Cole, Punk were actually surprises to be in AEW as soon as they were...and suddenly that opportunity at the top of the card was gone.
