Beside Parekh, this is the prospect that I am most excited about.
If he translates up, he'll be a fan favourite for a long time.

Finishing the season with Parekh and Suniev on the roster would be a nice bookend for the season with the playoffs all but gonzo.

It would be even better if we make the playoffs and they could provide some depth/coverage for a long playoff run.
Another winning streak, a bit of a skid for MIN and we beat them both remaining games and we could be back in there!

Might be the most determined prospect in the system.
His progress, and especially commitment, has been sensational from all reports.

Yup- his sole focus in his life has been to make the NHL. Highly committed player.

Cole O'Hara, UMass leading scorer has signed with the Preds. Good time for Suniev to be moving on from UMass.

Seeing Parekh and Suniev in some games to finish the season would soften the blow of missing playoffs.
....if, we miss the playoffs

Have not got to watch much of his play but have heard about his compete level and shot. Anyone have any NHL comparisons as far as ceiling/floor? Obviously the floor with any prospect is to not be an NHL player at all but does anyone have a more optimistic floor for him?

I believe as long as the team still has games to play, he can sign a contract for this season. There's no requirement for the Flames to actually play him though.
I'm sure he'll get into a few down the stretch though.

Eager to see how his skating (the knock on him when he was drafted) has improved.

A little under $200,000 for about 2 weeks of work isn't too bad.

I believe that qualifies him to be a CP poster.
