I suspect I know the answer without even having to listen to the contents. Like did anyone even listen to the whole rambling schpiel?

What I heard was quite good. Especially when you compare to Strom Thurman who was reading from the encyclopedia.

It's actually a fairly common story. People should remember this when voting.
The only difference between the centrist right and the far-right are the lies they tell.
The far-right is never actually for the common man, they are always incredibly corrupt and eager to team up with big money. The centrist right is never actually centrist or moderate, the real difference is that the far-right say the quiet parts out loud, and if given the chance they're basically Musk with maybe less of a drug problem.

I am sure they will inflate their numbers at least somewhat. There seems to be more and more evidence of a lot of financial irregularities in his companies, and I'm sure he feels invincible to the law right now.

Wait, so now it's not because we are allowing smuggling, but because we are selling fentanyl? And the tariffs are on fentanyl to make it more expensive?
Time for the 25th amendment, guys. This pumpkin is done.

Yet more proof that Trump has no idea what the f*** he's doing. I read another article yesterday that mentioned that even his inner circle has no clue what he wants, even though they've pitched him several different options.
It's crazy to think that they're about to tariff the entire world, and it's actually going to come down to a last minute decision from a geriatric dementia patient with the brain of a toddler. You'd think that a monumental decision like this would normally take months/years of planning before unveiling it. What a bunch of f***ing clowns.

Trump’s announcement is expected at 4 p.m. at the White House Rose Garden. But the ongoing doubt about exactly what Trump would decide on — he and his team were reportedly still debating major elements of the tariffs in the days and hours before the president’s announcement — has generated unease and confusion among businesses and consumers alike.

Businesses and consumers are already saying they foresee worse economic outcomes as a result of the tariffs. In the University of Michigan’s latest consumer confidence survey, consumers’ long-run inflation expectations had the largest three-month increase on record and are now at a 32-year high.

He’s also such an uncool uncharismatic moron that the in-fighting that would happen would be beautiful.

The one saving grace with Vance would be his fundamental cu ck nature. He would sit back and watch congress completely take over his agenda.

He absolutely would not, even if only because he doesn't have the juice to do the stuff Trump can unchecked.

Vance was a noted 'never-Trumper' until such time as it became politically expedient for him to kiss his orange ass. Along the same lines as Corsi, my bet (and my hope) is that the cult of personality that is enabling this chaos dies with Trump.

Vance is unlikeable, even in his own party. I don't think MAGA would have his back in the same way, and he would probably be too worried about prison to do the stuff that Trump is doing / suggests to do.
Tariffs are up his alley though, i think.

Vance is trying to do what others in the MAGAverse have previously tried to do, and thats to set himself up as a spiritual successor to Trump in an attempt to inherit the cult. Inheriting the cult is likely enough to win the Republican nomination. Is it enough to win a general? Who knows, as much as Trump is a symptom more than the disease, he's still been able to uniquely weaponize it. No one else really has.
