LOL are you for real? Trump is pardoning J6ers and traffickers and the DOJ is trying to throw someone in jail for 20 years for vandalizing Tesla.

There is no justice to be found.

Haven't they already ruled he didn't? Unless there's some new info out there?

With a white collar crime like this, you dont just need evidence of a crime, you also need someone actually willing to enforce the law.

Cant just be arresting, charging (maybe even deporting) folks for crimes...oh wait...

Again, Trump can only pardon federal crimes, if Musk was convicted in Wisconsin there's only one person who could pardon him and that person is a democrat.

Until Musk delays the court case and then bribes voters enough to get a Republican in. Then he's cool. The American Dream is alive and well.

Trump would find some federal funds to withhold from Wisconsin unless they drop the charges.

But destroying cars, disturbing a market that is already headed into tumult with their ability to supply demand due to someone artificially constraining their access to raw materials. That isn't a recipe to hurt own of the people who will need to manufacture the goods to get the economy out of this problem.

Sometimes when you have a rampant Musk infection, a few cars may get burned in the disinfection work. Worth it.

Yes, I’m for real. Did you misread my post?

First, I don’t think anything happens. That’s a state crime which Trump can’t pardon. Still, nothing will happen.

Sorry, WR, didn't mean to insinuate you were wrong for asking, just my general contempt for the justice situation in the US right now.

Tesla’s deliveries fell more than expected in the first three months of this year, marking its worst quarter since 2022, as the electric-vehicle maker faced a consumer backlash in Europe and weak demand in China.

The US group, led by Elon Musk, delivered 336,681 cars in the first quarter, far fewer than the 390,000 forecast by analysts and the 387,000 it delivered in the same period last year.

Tesla’s shares were down almost 5 per cent in pre-market trading.

LOL. I'm looking forward to the interviews today with Musk shedding crocodile tears completely oblivious as to why everyone ####ing hates him. These numbers are even worse than the worst forecasts.

Let's see what another car guy thinks of him.
Spoiler!

Ah ya, that's the stuff.

https://electrek.co/2025/04/01/tesla...uck-inventory/

With Tesla having issues selling new Cybertrucks, the automaker is reportedly not taking any as trade-ins. Many Cybertruck owners reported trying to trade-in the truck for a new vehicle and they were told that the automaker currently doesn’t accept its own vehicle as a trade-in.

Some owners who have had their trucks in service for extended periods of time are also trying to get Tesla to take the truck back, but the company is forcing them to go through the Lemon Law process.

Used Cybertruck prices are down 55% year over year, 13% over the last three months, and 6% over the last month.

As Tesla doesn’t take the Cybertruck as a trade-in, other used car dealers are also reticent about buying the vehicle. They have been known to give low-ball offers to potential sellers as they wait to see where the price will stabilize.

I dont think there's any more obvious way of telling the whole world you're a mentally incompetent weirdo than driving/ owning a Cybertruck

I would think the damage is done as the Tesla brand is so toxic now that I just don't see how they can turn it around.

Well it spiked the stock 6% in about five minutes after the news leaked, so at least some people think this will help. But yeah he's not gonna be able to go silent which is what he really needs to do.

He is who he is, and everyone knows it now. The myth of the techno genius has been shattered, and the reality, that he's only really good at lying to people to get funding and has the technical knowledge of your 70 year old aunt who still uses a flip phone is bare for all to see.

The funny thing is that even if Elon walked away from Tesla, it's still seen as his piggy bank, plus.. his cult is the only reason Tesla's stock is where it is. It's fundamentals, especially when it's quarterly results come in, indicate that it's a house of cards. They can't move Cybertrucks, there's reports they have $200M in inventory liability in CT alone. Institutional investors should be running for the hills. Tesla is going down, it's just a matter of when.

Not to mention the $1.4 billion missing from their financial statements.
