Now I'm selfish as a Flames fan. I really wanted him here as soon as possible for our playoff push.

I've seen him score a few times this season with that wrist shot. Looks like he's not going to get much on it, then all of a sudden it's in the net. I love shots like that, you don't have to overpower the goalie a lot of the time, just get it on net and worst case there's a rebound. It's a pretty sneaky shot.

He's got that whippy wrister while moving east-west that's hard to track for a goalie, Makar like deception.
Not sayin he's the next Makar but I think he emulates his style.

I watched that game and to me Zayne is too good for the OHL. He legit looked bored at times, and could make plays so easily, his brain is way ahead of the others.
These are good things of course, but just really stood out to me how good he sees and thinks the game, in addition to his physical gifts.

Let him cook. If he can drag this roster to another mem cup that would set him up as a legend. The flames aren't making the playoffs anyways.

They can't bring him up until his playoffs are done anyway.

Yes, sorry, don't know where the quote went but I was replying to Jayswin's post above about wanting him to lose in the playoffs sooner to join the flames.

It's like Makar. He is moving his feet and it's deceptive and in the net. It's more dangerous than tossing a bunch of slap shots on net. Also like Hughes it can also lead to tips on the PP.

There is NO way he should be returning to the OHL next year.
3rd pairing, 1st unit PP mins and 3 on 3 in OT.

This is what I’m hoping for as well. Obviously it will depend on how his camp goes but would really like to see him on the flames.

To me his style reminds me of Karlsson. Not saying thats what he will be but to me he is more Karlsson lite than like Hughes or Makar. Just extremely poised, makes everything look easy with the puck.
Also he has plus/minus of 0 in this series while the two other top prospects, Igor and Misa are -8 and -7.

He is so freaking nasty man. He's not making team Canada again next year just because he'll be a full-time NHLer.
