Not sure why AC chose the little PGT, but he just showed a graphic where the puck would have to be a hexagon to not be over the line. Unreal that in 2025 we have a 12 fm/s camera that is positioned back from overhead so that you literally can't tell when a puck is over the line.

Anthony Mantha is not what this team needs and he’s already been replaced.

Arguing over coaching after every loss is pretty boring, if you can’t control yourself after drinking maybe stay off message boards.

The defensive prospects look great, whether they actually turn into very good NHLers remains to be seen. If they do, the Flames are off and running. Need a lot of help up front now, and especially in the future. Lots of help.

In the US the puck trail has to cross the line also.

Flames have picked up a number of good young players
 Frost
 Bahl
 Pachal
 Farabee

And a number of their draft picks took big steps in the last year or so

 Coronato
 Zary
 Wolf
 Pospisil

Their top paid players showed up

 Huberdeau
 Kadri
 Weegar

But a few players really regressed

 Coleman
 Backlund
 Sharangovich

 A few unsung heroes

 Hanley
 Vladar

I don’t know. I don’t think they are as bad as a lot of people on here think. They are fairly young. Have a ton of cap space and draft picks and are competitive on most nights with the top teams.

Just need some of their draft picks to hit and at some point they are going to have to use their cap space to find some offence.

I’m betting there are a number of other teams that would prefer to be in the Flames position .

Disappointed but this is what happens when you have no margin for error.
Now we seem guaranteed for peak pain finishing just outside the playoffs without our own lottery pick.

They’ve been an entertaining team this year with many great moments. Hopefully the culture that is being built will pay off in a season or two.

Why in 2025 is the situation room dissecting pixels from the footage.
We can't install hi def, high frame rate equipment why?

This is just my opinion, but I just see a collection of 2nd to 3rd line players there. Outside of Weegar who is a 1st pairing dman.

We desperately need some top end talent. Depth isn't the issue.

Again, just my opinion. Most of those players you listed are fine as secondary type players. We need some 1st line talent.

Coaching might not be the biggest issue, but isn't the goal to improve all aspects of the team from year to year?

The Blues went out and got Jim Montgomery. They have now likely beat the Flames out for a playoff spot.

The Flames are 17th in average age I wouldn’t really call them fairly young. Utah had a younger roster.
They need to get younger and graduate youth.

They got Jim Montgomery because they had the young pieces and expected to compete for a wild card spot.

Do you see a Jim Montgomery available? We are still paying Sutter.

I mean, there was a Jim Montgomery available in November, and the Blues are not some hot up and coming team.

But really my point was the team should Lways be looking to improve every facet of their game. Coaching staff included.

I'm not know how people think this team is overachieving this season. For me they are just less sucking because of good goaltending. Because of other western conference teams were bad this team looked better in the standings.Anyway Conroy accepted this mediocre team to be mediocre for the season and lost a year. I hope Wolf, Coronato and Zary keep progressing.

We will have balls in the lottery. Just very few of them.

If we don't win the lottery, we lose the pick.
