I think thats her folks, they couldn't lose this one. They needed both. the amount of times coleman had the game on his stick and for that matter backlund and frost and farabee... just unreal.

Looked tired and 'off' for a big part of the game, but that team gave everything they had in the 3rd. Maybe if they had some offensive talent they could have pulled it off, but it just wasn't meant to be.
Not sure why tennis can have the exact position of a ball on the court in instant replay within seconds, but the NHL has cameras from the 1980s and they have to look at it for 5 minutes. Very confident that puck went completely over. Arg.

It's ridiculous that the NHL hasn't invested in conclusive technology yet. It's 2025. Pretty sure you could build it with parts off of amazon.

Probability there is still a chance. Statistically speaking, when has this team won like 8 in a row this year to justify the confidence they do it.
It's over and has been for a while, it's the loser points that keep the races tight for everybody.

I’m both frustrated at our luck/finishing ability and extremely proud of how hard this team works despite all the odds being stacked against them. If anything, I feel for the guys in that room as it’s not easy to keep that level of motivation when you know the chance is slim-to-none that you get in.
St. Louis needs to piss off already with the bs amount of luck they’re having.

How many times does Kelly Hrudey need to hear from his producer in his ear that goal line reviews are not initiated by a coach challenge but by the league before he remembers the rules.
I swear he screws that one up all the time.

Because the NHL needs the Phoenix Coyotes to win games, and no one outside of Calgary gives a if the Flames lose.

No kidding though, how big does the sliver of white paint need to be to deem it a goal.
Pretty safe to say between frames that the puck's a full puck-length behind the goal line.
I wonder what the Edmonton/Toronto ruling would be? Yeah. I think we know.

Remember when they ruled a goal offside when they couldn’t even find a conclusive angle on the puck and just guessed.
That’s Gary’s NHL.

How is that the best image quality available from a camera that's 4 feet away in 2025?

I yelled for the first time all year when he glided in and did a weak shot on the short handed 2 on 1. Not moving his feet at all. He probably shouldnt be playing with whatever injury he has.
