Sigh... Gotta appreciate the effort in the third there from the Flames on the b2b. They tried.
Of course the difference is pretty much a molecule of the puck not being across the line supposedly. We just keep getting screwed.

don't understand the premise of the OP, but I'm proud of the Flames no matter what happens.
For whatever reason, Utah seems to be a team we can't beat...along with St. Louis.
My question is, why?

#1 priority in the off season needs to be some forwards with some offensive creativity.
Almost threw my remote thru the TV watching Backlund dump the puck on the goalie on a clear cut 2-on-1

I don't understand how you can see this frame and conclude the puck hasn't fully crossed the line. Infuriating.

And the camera isn't directly over the red line, so the puck is even more in the net than it appears.
