I can't recall the last time I saw someone flying an american flag. But I have a strong feeling that would invite vandalism in this community.

Actually though, I imagine I know exactly who it was that called in. Pat/Mark Cassidy or Gord Hennigar. These are long term ultra conservatives who periodically run for council/ run slam piece websites against existing councilors. They're currently all enraged that the city renamed "Grandin" neighborhood into "the Gardens". No #### they are posting constantly on community facebook pages about destroying our history, questioning the veracity of residential schools, etc. They are true scum of the earth.
Their second proposal right now is a flat cut of 30% of city budget.

Also, they're super embarassing in public. Mark Cassidy ran for council and would come to debates with his shirt half tucked in, massively stained, hair all askew.

Gord lives in Akinsdale, in a horrible hovel of a place, flying an American flag. Only one I see in St. Albert. It was probably he who called.

There was an incident in High River a month ago where a couple had an American flag flying in front of their house. Both the house and their 2 vehicles were vandalized. Piece of concrete was thrown through their front window.

I heard that too. I assume what happened is he has an American flag flapping around off the back of his truck, and every time he looks in the rear view mirror he thinks he's seeing another American flag around. These are not smart people. Probably Smith voters.
