The pivotal moment in this season for me was either one of the Dallas loss or the most recent EDM OTL. Flames win both and the feels in this game for both players and fans is completely different.
Now I need to start looking at that bottom 10 to see if there's a chance, I've avoided that since I've been on team playoffs for so long. Still likely too far off.
Can't wait for Apr 17.

8 shots for the Flames - yikes! Are some of the guys packing it in for the season?
It would suck if they learned bad habits despite Conroy’s desire to have them play meaningful competitive games.

To me it was the losses to the Blues.
Still had hope after that, but not like before.

Nah, it was having a dismal record against the top teams.
The rest is all an illusion - not being able to beat good teams tells the real story.
Had we made the playoffs, it might have been hard to watch.

I hope after this game that every vet player with a knock or ache gets the balance of the season off, and we bring some kids up.
Easier to take losses like this when the team is full of kids just up from the A, NCAA or CHL.

Only solace for getting a better spot in the draft, from position #23 where the NYI and up, all those east teams from there and up are still in striking range of a wildcard spot.
