Still rough and tough
Blues are gone. They earned a playoff spot.

Wild are the last hope. They have a pretty soft schedule.

That doesn’t seem like a great plan.

Conroy wasn't in a position where he had to trade him. He's not a UFA and the team was in a playoff hunt. If you want him then make a serious offer.

That changes this summer if his demands don't meet with what they're willing to pay.

Crazy part is Andersson is -29 on the season. He’s been a train wreck defensively the last 20 games or so. Bahl his partner is -4.

Yes but his contract has value they could get more than if he was a pending UFA.

Obviously not enough if Kadri was the only one they were getting offers worth considering.

People said the same thing about Markstrom and what the Flames ended up getting was just as good if not better than what was reported during the season.

I think Torts wrecked both Frost and Farabee. They will probably be much different players next season when they regain their confidence.

You think the route they took was a great plan?

Such a frustrating game. I hate Pissy so much more than McDiver, he is an arrogant, miserable personality who barely moves around on the ice or backchecks, yet he torches the flames tonight- they couldn't stop him. He is the only reason they won. Seems like some teams have figured out McDiver, but Pissy keeps scoring. It's just an extra kick in the *ss when elite players are unlikable d-bags.

And in a weird twist of fate Flames fire Huska during the off season and hire Torts.

Unfortunately, that isn't reality. It's hard to make up points near the end of the year in a playoff race.

A race we have zero business being in anyways outside ot spectacular goaltending.

Terrible. We all love our Flames and get upset and frustrated when they let us down, but there's always more to life than hockey. My condolences to his family

When it’s your time it’s your time, and nothing changes that. That’s terrible news.

As for the hockey related news, Conroys choice to sit on his hands this deadline turns out to be an awful choice. No playoffs, lost pick and yet another year in the mushy middle. That should be strike one for Conroys time as GM.

Do you think Conroy’s boss would of allowed him to throw in the towel at the deadline?

How much of it is Conory? How much is it the guy sitting beside him giving him Edwards mandate.

Yes and the evidence from our insiders points that way too. Kadri was supposedly shopped until he used his NTC. Listening to offers on your best forward is a pretty good sign they were willing to throw in the towel.

Although I agree with this, it simply doesn’t make sense. If this poster was to do that, according to their assessment, they’d have nothing to complain about and therefore no reason to exist
