True, but also a game against the Wild and unlike the Blues, Wild have
Actually lost more than a game in their last 10.

When this team is trailing and they are forced to generate offense they are capable of comebacks, but give Huska a 1 goal lead and it time to shut it down and pray your goalie can stand on his head.

Career losing coach continues to be a losing coach. Huge shocker that a guy who stunk in the AHL can't get it done in the NHL.
This may be the worst take ive seen in a while.

You and Dissentowner need to start a he-man Huska hating club

Finally saw the highlights of the game now.
I can't believe what a f'ing loser Nurse is- saw the highlight where he was waving to the flames after the second. He reminds me of ralph wiggum from the simpsons. Hoping he catches a crosscheck to his stupid f'ing face before the season is over. Probably one of the dumbest human beings I've ever seen.
And Perry is such a human piece of s**t. Hope he catches a stick to his teeth as well. What a scumbag.

With league average goaltending we are right there with the Blackhawks and Sharks.

You've been writing nonsense all yea and it's not true. The Flames are a bubble team with really good goaltending and poor finishing, not a bottom feeder being outplayed night in and night out only to be miraculously propped up by game stealing goalies.

They do not profile the same as the Sharks or Blackhawks but with great goaltending.

The Flames at 5v5 are:

7th in possession
20th in expected goals for %
17th in scoring chances for %
21st in high danger chances for %
3rd in save %
31st in shooting %

----------------------------------
The Blackhawks at 5v5 are:

32nd in possession
32nd in expected goals for %
32nd in scoring chances for %
32nd in high danger chances for %
29th in save %
13th in shooting %
-------------------------------------
The Sharks at 5v5 are:

31st in possession
31st in expected goals for %
31st in scoring chances for %
30th in high danger chances for %
26th in save %
24th in shooting %

Starting to understand why Philly gave Frost and Farabee away. Don’t see much more upside in their games.

Flames have a head to head with the Wild and the Wild havent won 9 straight lol.

Win the games in hand and the head to head...deficit is now 1 point. Wild are the most catchable.

He said they didn’t really shop anyone including Andersson.

When teams overpaid for crap like Laughton and Carlo he should have seen what the market was for Andersson.

Oh Frost looks like he has another level. Not sure why you'd say that.

Farabee looks like our mid-Mangiapane replacement. 30-35 points, the odd goal but kind of just there.

You don't have to shop a player to get an offer. If Colorado was willing to give them an offer worth considering for Kadri then other teams could have for Andersson.

It's a lazy narrative.

This really paints the picture of what separates the Flanes from the TRUE bottom feeders, and while goaltending is a huge part, it's not everything.

They aren't a team getting steamrolled and just held up by their goaltender.

More offensively frustrated but solid and competitive in terms of play, against all levels of teams.

While they're 2% save percentage away from being in the bottom 10, they're also a little more finish away from challenging for a divisional spot.

So at the end of the day that makes them a bubble team.

He doesn’t have the finish to get into that 60 point player. Hes got good hands but he’s soft on the puck and just doesn’t finish.

Farabee is around the puck but he handles it like grenade.

I've kind of changed my mind on Frost. Was pretty down on him but since he's been placed on a line with Huberdeau he's looked a lot more dynamic.

Farabee I see as kind of a placeholder over the next couple of seasons while we wait to see if one or two of Stromgren, Suniev, Gridin, Basha, Battaglia, Honzek, etc., can come in and be impact wingers.

Even if there were some pretty lowball offers, you have to factor in what the higher draft pick would have meant in each of the subsequent rounds after falling in the standings. To my mind the biggest transgression was not moving in either direction at the deadline.

They are 4-1-1 in their last six...if not for the Blues insane heater we would probably have a totally different take

Reported by who? And what GM is gonna say they were trying to trade a guy. Lets not debate rumors as facts.

Farabee also looks like a guy whose confidence has to be rebuilt a bit. Hopefully a full off season does that for him.
