Have to say this team needs respect. The non quit is remarkable.
I said when Huberdeau got signed that he needs a kick in the nuts and people laughed. I think he's got it. This is the Huberdeau I saw in his early 20s with the Panthers. The man has a good heart, the contract will be an albatross, but I don't mind it anymore.

I think the issue is mental. It's like watching someone clear the pool table and scratch on the 8 ball over and over. I don't think he's unlucky or that the dam is about to burst. He needs a mental reset. He looks like a player on the verge of a breakthrough but I don't think it will be this season. Wouldn't be surprised if it happens for him next year though.
