Hit Draisaitl, then hit him again harder. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

So if they lose tonight and then win ten in a row and finish with 99 points, are they not getting in? 99 will always be enough.
They’re probably able to lose 2 maybe 3 in their final 11 to get in.
A loss tonight wouldn’t end anything.

The best thing about a win tonight would be keeping the playoff hopes alive. The second best thing would be watching Luke Gazdic choke back the tears during the postgame wrap-up.

Bring the effort they did last game, and more nights than not they'll come out with the win. I would love nothing more than to see a couple of Oiler jersey's tossed onto the ice in this one.

What they need is the forecheck they had last game. For some reason, the Flames play defensively against the Oilers, which is the worst way to play them - if you let them build speed through the neutral zone, they will make you pay. The way to beat the Oilers is to forecheck them and put pressure on that horrible defense (just like they did against Dallas).
Maybe with McDavid out, they won't play that disgusting 1-4 they seem to like to play against these clowns.

There is nothing wrong with or dirty about testing a player coming back from an injury. You make then feel footprints, hammer him whenever you can, and make him worry more about survival then playing hockey.

Starting to worry that the Flames will do what I hope, bring the game they played against Dallas to this one, and the refs will call everything because it’s still the Oilers.

That pic makes it look like McDavid is tickling Lombeg.
Go Flames Go. Put in a similar performance as they did against Dallas, and they will blow out the Oilers.
