A Flames win makes the race very interesting. Minny has a low chance of winning against a red hot Capitals team. A Flames win could have the Flames 4 points back of Minnesota with 2 games in hand.
Also go Preds go. This the Blues' easiest matchup left for the year.

I'd pull Klapka and demote Sharangovich if Backlund is in.
They can't seem to play the fourth line more than 5.5 minutes per game now, maybe Sharnagovich with some more puck skill can drive the line to 8 minutes.
I realize he looks shot confidence wise and that's a stretch, but maybe a dumbed down version of the sport (fourth line) will help unlock him.

I don't know if I have the emotional strength to watch the games tonight. May just check in tomorrow morning. The roller coaster ride could be fun or it could induce fear and vomiting.

I’m just hopi g the rumours of him coming back to soon from injury hurt his game this year. He starts getting 5.75 million for 5 years next season.

If Sharangovich was healthy he should replace Rooney who has been pretty unplayable for most of the season.
But I think he's not 100% healthy and it's clearly hurting his effectiveness.

I love Hanley, a true pro.
Honestly, I really like Rooney as well. Not a skilled guy, but doesn't cheap out on his game.
