Every bath towel?

People have already said things like chargers and linens, that would have been my first thought.

I would remove the potato masher from its usual drawer then put an additional masher in every other drawer in the house.

I wouldn't steal anything, I'd just freak them out a little bit. Nothing bad, no...it's just, like for instance I could send them pictures of themselves sleeping. You know, just as a way of being like, "hey, I was there", you know?

The whole point is to isolate them and make them feel like they're going insane. So I would just do little things, like replace their dog with a slightly different dog, or, you know, change the furniture in their house so they think that they're shrinking. You know, basic stuff, most of which I learned in the military, and some on a subreddit, you know?

Basically, just plant a seed, and then they just kind of hang themselves so it's super non-violent. But by the end of it it's like their brains will have essentially eaten themselves.

Since surferguy started this, I'll give a shop applicable example.

I'll sneak into your shop and carefully inspect your imperial hex key set. I'll remove the ones that show the most use and replace them with a similar, but frustratingly different, metric one!

Haha! It’s funny as I had the exact issue arise today while trying to fix my pin nailer.

Also I think the idea of stealing all the door knobs is a bit too invasive. I feel these need to be more low key annoying. Like change all the clocks to be a slightly different time

Remove every bolt and pin from every door and utility so they just fall off.

Open the oven? Door falls off.

Open the fridge? Door falls off.

Open the front door? Door falls off.

Go to the bathroom? Door falls off.

Open the garage door? Door falls off.

Use the microwave? Oh you better believe that door falls off.

I'll second Yamer's idea. Displace items, switch things (like photographs). Place weird items whose sudden appearance is inexplicable. Why steal from someone when you can slowly make them descend into madness?
