Doesn't sound like a whole lot of new info from back in December, but it's good that things are progressing enough that the organization can bang the drum at these kinds of events.

Great summary, 3thirty! Only a couple minor adds and likely nothing new:
Building
- Suites will overhang the last few rows of the lower bowl, helping create the steeper more intimidating atmosphere versus spread-out.
- Later this fall? The Flames will have a room-sized model of the interior of the new arena which season tickets holders will be invited to attend and walk through.
- Many more season ticket holder options beyond just suites and seats: standing tables, theatre seats, booths as examples.
- Wider variety of options for pre-/post-game activities, from clubs to places for families.
- Lower bowl will be 28 rows as you noted which compares to the Saddledome's 13-row lower bowl aside from 24-row zamboni end.
- On the ticket prices rambling non-answer, said at the end they aren't in the business of taking advantage of their customers. That made me chuckle.
Hockey
- Bahl was one of the players they specifically targeted after seeing the impact no Zadorov had.
- On draft, context of the question was if they would be picking a centre. Conroy stated the approach is always best player available but like you said, C over D all things equal as have a cupboard of high-end D prospects.
- Has authority to spend to the cap right now, but isn't going to spend just for the sake of filling open cap space. Don't have to use space on July 1st and no retention opportunities came to fruition at deadline. But, will certainly be knocking on the doors of all top UFAs.
- They were and remain willing to spend draft capital to get a young, established centre however the player must fit that criteria as they are cognizant of situations where spending draft capital for the purposes of accelerating window didn't work.
- Could have made minor moves at the deadline but in addition to prices like you mentioned, Conroy said he felt he owed it to the team and leadership group to push for the playoffs as is.

I don't think this has been resolved yet. They said they have looked at how other teams have handled moves to new buildings. They are aware some STH's are still upset how they were treated during the Saddledome renovations. A design centre is planned for the fall with models and visuals, similar to the ticket seller sites where you will be able to see the views from all of the seats.
I am not confident and requested a meeting with the CEO or exec in charge of STH allocations to discuss. I am waiting to hear back from my account manager.
Here's one example of why I am already frustrated. Our family has had season tickets since the Flames moved from Atlanta. I used to go with my dad to games at the Corral when I was a kid. Believe or not I remember being at the very first game: a 5-5 tie against the Quebec Nordiques. But our account manager said that our account only shows us as holding season tickets since 1983 when the Saddledome opened. They don't even know we had tickets in the Corral. How is that possible? So does that mean STHs who had tickets dating all the way back to when the Flames played in the Corral will not be given any additional priority? Sounds like it. That's not good.

I'm sorry in advance, as I know my comment will come across as argumentative, probably because it is a slightly argumentative perspective.
Trying to understand, why you are worried about the Flames not being able to tag the fact you had tickets for a few years prior to 1983? I'm slightly impressed they have solid records back to 1983. What are your concerns even if they couldn't track that? You must be in the top percentile of STH given that amazing tenure, is there really much on the line in not being able to track those first few years?

Conroy was pretty definitive that they want to be starting their contention window in ~2.5 years when the new barn is opening.

I'm not sure I'd hold my breath on being able to talk to many folks above your account manager to talk relocation. But I could be wrong.

Yeah, unless the 12 other people with seasons tickets from the Corral wants the exact 2 seats you want, I don't see it as much of a problem.

It’s not but I genuinely love the idea that this is a “demand a meeting with the CEO” level problem for someone. People are wonderful.
