I notarized a travel authorization for a guy at the office. Partly as a joke I sent him a google search for immigration lawyers in Hawaii. Then he told me his kids were going with a brown skinned person and he was meeting them later. The joke instantly became a lot less funny.
Hawaii is like the only place where I could see myself travel to under the U.S banner. They're a social eco system unto their own and I've personally seen way more upside down flags in one spot than anywhere else ever. And that was Honolulu. Not even out of the city where I know it's far more anti-american.
