Back when I was on anti-depressant meds, I used to have really messed up vivid dreams about doing menial tasks or things I had done earlier in the day. Dream of making dinner, having conversations on the phone, to the point where I couldn't tell the difference between dream and reality sometimes.
Thank god I'm off that garbage.

HEY...I recently started tapering off some of my meds....maybe that was part of the work dream thing 'cause that's EXACTLY what it was like. Often couldn't tell if I was actually sleeping and dreaming or whether I was awake and daydreaming. Weird stuff.

I've gotten variations on one where I'm doomed to repeat the same task and am unable to break the cycle.

Wow, I can't believe how many other people have the teeth falling out dreams too! A few years ago I chipped my front tooth on a champagne bottle (classy, I know) and when I got it fixed, the doctor just warned me to be very careful with it afterwards, but after that, I would have these nightmares where not only would my front tooth re-chip, but it would just completely fall out... followed by the rest of my teeth. I would wake up totally freaked out, because I really like my teeth, and well... its traumatizing to dream about them falling out!
When I was in high school I had a series of dreams that lasted for about two weeks, and each night it was the same scenario. I would be in my garage with a gun, and each night I would shoot someone different, then just stand there... then my mom would run in and be like wtf have you done? It freaked me out so bad, cause the person I'd shoot would range from like, my dad, to my boyfriend, to my soccer coach... so weird. Every morning I'd be pretty freaked out, and then afraid to go to sleep again each night, just cause I was afraid of what would happen.
I still have lots of strange dreams now, but luckily nothing quite as traumatizing as that. Now I mostly just dream about showing up to work naked, or hooking up with ugly guys.

I lucid dream all the time. When this happens I feel slightly cheated as I dont know what to do in my dream, and infact makes the process seem rather pointless. (I dream the stupidest stuff)
I rather think I would become bored with being Neo( matrix) After a while the thought process would become like "oh, woopdidoo, I can fly. //sigh// just like I can do every bloody thing else! //sigh//
I almost wish it happened to me less often.

What would happen if you died in your dream? I always wondered what happens but never experienced it personally. Im pretty sure you wouldnt die for real but after reading about it online it sounds really creepy. I hope i wont experience that type of dream

Wow, I've never had the teeth dream or even heard about it before.....Well I can guess what tonight's dreams will be.
I have “semi-lucid” dreams. I don't fly or have superpowers etc. If I'm dreaming and it is something I don't like (AKA nightmare) I just stop the dream. Kinda like I say "I don't like this" and the dream completely changes. I haven’t had a nightmare since I was like 5-6 years old.
I do have the school dream, either I'm sitting in a class and the final exam is being passed out when I realize I haven’t been in class all term. Or I am in the hallway and don't remember what class I'm supposed to be in and do not have a schedule on me. These dreams are not scary just frustrating.

I started lucid dreaming when I was a kid. It started out when I would have this recurring nightmare where I was being chased and eaten by a snake. I eventually taught myself to force my hands to my eyes and to pry my eyes open to wake myself up.
I then learned to do other things; like in those dreams where you are running and nothing is happening. Whenever that happens to me I switch into lucid mode and just start running. Eventually I taught myself how to fly- at first I always had to take off from the same spot or else I could only get so far. Then I taught myself to fly without flapping my arms.
About 10 years ago I taught myself how to bring items into my dreams. So now when I am being chased by zombies I just summen a Phaser Rifle and wipe them all out with one shot.

I sometimes have reoccurring dreams about zombies every now and then. Not the green cartoon-like zombies, but the ones in 28 Days Later. It's weird because, it's not like these dreams scare me, I actually find them fun, kinda like a choose your own adventure horror movie.

No zombies or anything here, but I do get three fairly regualrly.
3. Falling - I am falling and as I hit the ground and brace myself for the crash I turn, land on my feet and walk away.
2. He work/whatever you did for too long that day dream - As mentioned earlier, playing PS3 all day can make you dream like you are in th egame
1. The forget your skates dream - I have this one most often.

I hate those type of "dreams" (not even really dreams). Used to get that with Tetris all the time.

Yup... dream/think about blocks and how they would fit all night long.
Tetris is evil.

I used to have a weird one that had to do with a cave in the basement of my dad's office building...can't remember the details though.
The ones that really creep me out is where I swear that I do the same thing in life as in the dream, right down to the pausing to think if I dreamt it. Twisted case of déjà vu.

I am dozing off to sleep…but I just can’t get there, its this strange cold feeling coming from my hand I reach down to feel what it is…its coming from my fingers…my ringer finger…there is this band wrapping around it, almost locking it there…I pull it up to my face and see a dim color of gold…I begin to panic…why is this thing here? Who put this on me? And than I turn to see the most terrifying thing of all…a slightly overweight, hair constantly in a pony tail, and “needs to use the credit card today” women beside me…who for some awful reason refers to me as her “hubby” I jump out of bed screaming in a fit…and than I fall on a stack of mortgage payments and baby food
I just thinking about it makes me terrified…there is a cold sweat running down my back…

Here's one that scares the hell out of me. I used to have this nightmare all the time when I was in my teens.
I walk up to a door. On the other side of the door, I can hear chinese opera music playing. When I open the door, I would see my grandmother standing there. She'd be calm one minute, listening to her chinese opera music, then, realizing that I am in the room she'd freak out try to push me out of the room. When I turn around to leave, there would be no door there...and worst part is the room would begin the shrink until it is the size of a coffin, but not before my grandmother would rot before my eyes.
