Coworker died two years ago and her LinkedIn anniversary comes up and ten people congratulating her. Depressing. I’m not doing the huge process I sure there is to get the account froze or whatever. Not gonna contact her husband I never met too get her death certificate to close out an account.

It drives me nuts when I'm following someone who is walking up the escalator and then they stop near the top. Especially gear grinding when I'm trying to get to a train about to leave.
Why the hell can you not continue walking all the way? Are you that freaking scared as a grown ass adult you'll be sucked in at the top when the steps flatten out?
If you don't walk to walk, fine. Stick to the right and stand there, but don't walk up the middle blocking people from getting by and then stopping your fat ass at the last few seconds.

You should just be happy they walked at all, most people think it's a ride

People have no sense of who is around them. Yesterday I had my cart following another lady into the cooler at Costco. Right at the entrance she stops, and leaves her cart and walked in. Like, thanks lady. This is becoming a pattern for me, whether cars or carts!

No signals being used when driving. Cut you off, cut into the left turn lane... just no ability to move that lever.
Almost as fun as the dope on the highway driving with the signal on all the time. You too scared to merge? Or just incompetent in other ways? I left you room... still waiting... still waiting... no? Ok, I'm going to go, OH THERE YOU GO.

There's also the "vehicle starts wandering out of the lane, then the signal light comes on" trick. Or the "stopped at a light, and don't turn on your signal until the light goes green" so I'm stuck behind you instead of taking the other lane when I approached frustration.
People suck.

Someone should design an app so I can conveniently tap on my signal light while browsing calgary puck on the road.

I just drive with my four way flashers on.
This allows me the ability to make random left or right turns as I wish.

Plus you don't even need to turn them on when you find convenient "parking" spaces.

BIL drives an 18 wheeler B-train. If he turns on his signals to change lanes whoever is behind him in that lane will speed up so he can’t move over in front of them, one of his favourite gear grinders. Now he moves halfway into that lane before turning on his signals.

Ya, I had an ####### do that to me, except I hadn't accelerated, I was on cruise, and he had about a 2 metre gap when he did it. Why he didn't pull out long before that I had no idea, but I suspect they do that on purpose. Good to know they do.
Tell your brother to wait if someone is overtaking him, if someone is in the fast lane approaching they are clearly going to be overtaking, and if your bro can't anticipate that from farther away to make a safe lane change, maybe he shouldn't be driving. Doing illegal things as a professional is pretty ####ty of him.

You necessarily have to pass through blind spots to overtake, so don't overtake? And I wasn't in his blind spot either, he had an empty flatbed, was in the right lane, and I moved in to the left lane long before getting anywhere near.
And if this BIL is seeing vehicles accelerate, it's probably because they don't want to be next to the semi long, so they accelerate, which is a good move. This dude sounds like a ####ty operator.

Nah, I used to drive a big truck and trailer in my summer job for years. You get a feel for the types that will try to fk you over. Geraldsh is right...you have to initiate the lane change before they have a chance to screw you. They don't care if your lane is ending. They don't care if you have a turn coming up and need over...some people just will not let a truck and trailer in.

I wasn't there so I can't say who is right or wrong, but it is never a good idea to cruise at or near a truckers blind spots. I adjust my speed faster or slower so that I can see the drive in their mirrors.

Passed a guy who was going 80 in the middle lane on Stoney Trail, and noticed him on the phone. Looked like it must have been on speaker as he had one hand on the wheel and his phone held out in front of him.
Buddy, what you're doing is not hands-free. It's ears-free.

I would signal, but I'm driving a Tesla and they're buried in a menu on the touch screen.
