I know it's fun to cheer this on but don't forget that you and other Canadians are likely losing value with this. At last reporting, the CPP had around 618,000 shares in Tesla. The various public pensions likely have a good chunk of shares as well.

Sometimes you need to sacrifice for the greater good. Musk going bankrupt is absolutely the greater good. Tesla shareholders forcing Musk out are the greater good. Not everything is about next quarter's cash pile.
And shame on the pension funds for buying into Musk's endless bull####, which is the only reason the stock has a P/E ratio over 100 and helping fund his fascist turn. Maybe it'll be a lesson, but greed is a powerful motivator.

Unfortunately, Tesla can go bankrupt and Musk will be fine, he owns 12% of Tesla but 42% of SpaceX. Even though Tesla has the higher market value the majority of his wealth comes from SpaceX.

Conversely, the smart ones of us were shorting Tesla when it was approaching $500 a share. Crash, baby, crash!

Public pension funds are motivated by greed now? That is definitely a new stance.

It's just now dipping below pre-election prices. They've only really lost the post-election bump if they had it this whole time. I am not sure why Canadian run pensions would continue to invest in Musk's companies post January though.
If it continues to drop at this pace and get well below $200, then I think there will be a bigger move to oust and sue Musk.

By who though? He controls the board so they aren't doing anything. He controls the government, so lawsuits could easily be thrown out if they get them to the right judge (this is where reincorporating in Texas also helps a lot). Plus there's a lot of cultists who back Tesla and are ride or die with Elon, so any move to oust and/or sue could crash the stock even more.

Musk has leveraged his Tesla shares to fund SpaceX and the Twitter purchase. Twitter is worth #### all, so as Tesla stock drops, creditors are going to get antsy. If Tesla goes bankrupt(not likely) Musk is absolutely ####ed(barring, obviously his position as king consort).
But it doesn't need to go bankrupt, it just has to drop below his leveraged price, which is suspected to be higher that $120 or so. And if reality sets in that FSD is not anywhere near good enoguh to run a robotaxi business, let alone justify the sales of FSD for the past decade, it could easily drop below that.

This article makes no mention of SpaceX. That's where most of Elon's money lies - and it's funded by the unlimited dollars of the US govt.
He could fold Twitter and Tesla tomorrow and remain one of the richest men on earth, and will 100% die a billionaire no matter what happens.
SpaceX is a private company too. As long as the Govt funds it - that handicapped Nazi is set forever.

I was sure I had read somewhere about his leverage on Space, but perhaps I misremembered or something. OK, guess we'll have to resort to Plan B.

Come 2028 depending on what the new administration looks like, that could be problematic, however.

He has a massive emotional investment in Tesla though, and it going under would be a huge hit to his man-baby ego and that alone would be worth it.
