Would like to see some of the defenceman up as well at some point. Some of our biggest struggles are because of the backend.

When the team has been at its best we have had mobile d, who get the puck back quick and can skate it up ice, pass it quick and join the rush.

Huge 2 points if you're on team tank like me. Let's get that top 10 pick! Or make playoffs!

But no 9th place please.

Flames are now outside looking in. It will be a hell of a battle for the balance of the season.

Flames definitely need to beat a few teams they "shouldn't" to make the playoffs. Might as well start tonight.

On a scale of 0 to Predator, where would you rank it?

I was surprised how good Coronato was watching him during the Flames/Avs game. He really stood out in a good way. If he had some elite talent to play with he would be popping 35+ no problem.

Similar vibes to Colorado. Barring a goalie-led steal, i don't see them pulling two points here.

I hate games in Toronto. They always seem to come out flat.

Prove me wrong!

Zary and Backlund make the Flames' roster a lot deeper. The Flames are missing their best shut down player and a .5PPG high energy forward.

Off topic a bit but wow Treliving.. gives away 2 firsts for Laughton and Carlo. Not sure if Laughton is better than Frost? I think Frost has better offensive talent. Laughton is slotting in on their 3rd line. Hasn't done squat! Will probably score against us now that I've written this

I was at the Flames game in Toronto last year. I think we lost in a shootout.

These are all must wins now.

Flames have lost 5 straight against the Leafs IIRC, need to end that streak tonight.

Still think they should have called up Kerins / Stromgren before Hunt / Klapka, the team needs an infusion of skill and energy.

Sure Hunt has more points than Kerins at the AHL level, but one of those guys showed a lot more potential at the NHL level and our bottom 6 needs help.

Huberdeau-Kadri-Pospisil
Coleman-Frost-Coronato
Farabee-Sharangovich-Hunt
Lomberg-Rooney-Klapka

Laugh Ton on the 4th line for the leafs. Tre gave up a 1st for the guy!

Magic man! Laughton probably scores on us tonight, but ultimately scores against the leafs

I'm not even having much fun watching the Flames right now, but I know I will enjoy watching tonight.
Prime is not convenient for me. I should not need multiple subscriptions to watch all Flames games.

Prime presentation is great, but streaming sucks you can't change channels during commercials and stuff.

Every game from here is huge, but a win tonight or a loss tonight likely sets up the rest of the year.
They have 6 or 7 losses left to give...losing tonight wouldn't be the end, losing both tonight and tomorrow maybe

Just wait until the Rogers national contract ends and we'll have to subscribe to: TSN for some national games, Sportsnet for some national and all regional games, Amazon for some national games, and probably at least one more streaming service (Crave/Disney/Apple/Netflix) for even more national games.
