I think the schedule thing is over stated. If the Flames can win 10 or 11 the Blues will have a hard time keeping pace. Thats the IF.

I mean if the Flames win 11 games the Blues need to go 11-3 to pass them.

Lol I bet Utah/Van goes to OT.

Why are these teams playing so much. Flames will have 3 or 4 games in hand on STL..

It is hang on time for Utah with their 2-1 lead. Less than three minutes left in regulation time!

The Kraken had a 2-0 lead and it has disappeared. The Jets strike back to tie it at 2-2.

Lets start with the first step.

The Flames have to win a game. Then we’ll see about the other 10.

So Flames are in the last spot on points percentage...they control their own destiny

With all the playoff implications, Canucks really needed to score on that 4 minute PP that they got with about 6 min left in the game to tie and get at least a point.

Nowhere do I say they will, my point is entirely that its up to them now. They have the points percentage lead currently...win some games

The Kraken have taken two penalties in the third period. They are in progress of killing the second penalty off.

Well 11-6 to end the season is an optimistic projection for the Flames.

Very, considering they've been a .500 team ever since their hot start.

It means they need a handful of important players outside of Wolf to play at a level they haven't or produce with a consistency that they haven't.

Yeah, we'll likely be destined for a 9/10th place finish this season which was my biggest fear. Luckily, I'm old now and and sports have become a huge second place to our world falling apart as Nazis start to take over our continent.

I'm trying to focus on other "healthy" things, but boy is it hard to ignore this fever dream s###tcircus going on when it's at our doorstep.

These are times when it's usually nice to find some solace in sports. Except our team is heading directly for no man's land 1-2 points shy of playoffs and will lose its own first round pick to the Habs for trading them a good player.

And our one really good story this season won't win the rookie award simply for being a goalie that plays on a western team. This will probably go down as a season with no redeeming aspects.

Intellectually I'm realizing that watching games may not be worthwhile until Parekh joins the team.

Who said projection? just saying what I think it will take...probably 10 realistically.

So 10-7...7 losses to give

I did this last week but there's always the unlikely but still possible chance of this happening if they just missed.
